From the Peaceable Kingdom, the Downriver Overlook Trail follows the Middle Little River downriver from above. After crossing the Cartway Entry's last stretch, it continues to the Crooks' SE corner where there stands a mighty Black Gum Tree. The trail continues to the Riverbound Crossing where it joins the Waterfall Trail. The Black Gum tree can be seen on the introduction to Irving Wonder and on deeds going back 150 years.
